Seattle, WA venue guide
Check the WAMU Theater bag policy with an official source, then plan your entrances, parking, and dining in Seattle, WA. Confirm event-specific entry rules before you go.
Bag policy
A clear bag policy applies: clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags up to 12" x 6" x 12", one-gallon clear freezer bags, or clear backpacks within those dimensions with no more than two pockets. A small clutch up to about 4.5" x 6.5" may accompany an approved clear bag. Medically necessary items are excepted after inspection; paid lockers are available outside the entrance.
Entrances
Doors typically open about one hour before the event (timing can vary by show). All guests pass through a wand or metal detector and bag search. Amplified Access guests use a dedicated Gate 9 entrance under the Amplified tent when that add-on is offered.
