The Center does not publish a standard door time; the ticket office and will call open two hours before Concert Hall events, lobby concessions open 75 minutes before curtain, and many Great Performances at Mason shows have a free discussion one hour before curtain. Take Metro's Orange Line to Vienna/Fairfax-GMU station, then either a CUE bus or the free Mason Shuttle (boarding at the north side bus bays; drivers may ask to see an event ticket) to campus; the shuttle stops at Sandy Creek Transit Center, the closest stop to the Center. The return shuttle runs about hourly until late evening but may be cut back or suspended during holidays and summer, and the CUE stop on the north end of campus is roughly a 7 to 10 minute walk from the Center.

Lobby concession bars sell snacks and drinks before Great Performances at Mason and Family Series events and at intermission. Food has to stay in the lobby; only bottled water or drinks in the lidded reusable OZZI cups from concessions may go into the hall, and the cups go back in lobby bins after the show.
