Bag policy

San Jose Theaters (operator) and Symphony San Jose (resident presenter) both prohibit backpacks/bags larger than 10 inches by 10 inches. All bags subject to search. Also prohibited: outside food or beverage (including alcohol); illegal substances/weapons; professional cameras, cameras with detachable lens, video cameras or tripods; signs/banners; poles/selfie-sticks; balloons, balls, frisbees; laptops/tablets; noisemakers; laser pointers; smoking/vaping. Medication: OTC only in unopened factory-sealed packaging; no vitamins/supplements; prescriptions in original labeled bottle matching photo ID. No in-and-out privileges; prohibited items will not be stored onsite. EDM events have heightened screening. Additional artist restrictions may apply. This information applies to public events.

345 S. First Street, San Jose, CA 95113. Main public entrance on S. 1st Street. No in-and-out / no re-admission if you leave. Central TSJ Box Office for the four San Jose Theaters venues is at San Jose Civic, 135 W. San Carlos St. (Tues-Sat 12pm-5pm; 408-792-4111 / tickets@sanjose.org) — it does not sell every California Theatre show; Symphony San Jose (408-286-2600) and Opera San Jose (408-437-4450) sell their own events. Capacity about 1,122. Late seating: ushers typically seat during an appropriate break. This information applies to public events.
